I’m so excited that I was able to add a second Switzerland group trip for 2024!

There is a focus on the best Swiss alps views, beautiful towns, and picturesque vistas. You know that I love a fantastic view to effort ratio - so no hiking required!! You get to sit back and enjoy trains, cogwheels, cable cars, and boats to take you to the most beautiful views.

Switzerland II
May 26 - June 1, 2024

Some places I can’t wait to show you:
🇨🇭 Lauterbrunnen with 300m-high Staubbach Falls an inspiration for Tolkien’s Rivendell in Lord of the Rings.
🇨🇭 Schilthorn with 360 views of the Alps and Piz Gloria, a rotating restaurant which was the filming location for James Bond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
🇨🇭 Jungfraujoch home to Europe’s highest-altitude railway station where you can gaze at The Great Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
🇨🇭 Take the steepest cogwheel railway in the world to the top of Mount Pilatus with the most spectacular views of Lucerne and it’s surrounding lakes and mountains - I’ve literally been brought to tears here at how beautiful it is.

And there is just soo much more!!

Find cheap flights by using the explore feature of Find cheap flights by using the explore feature of Google Flights.

This is my favorite way to search for flights! Crack open Google Flights, put in your home airport(s) and leave the destination blank.

This will pull up a map of everywhere you can travel to with prices listed. You can even leave the dates blank or use the settings to give flexible date ranges and trip duration.

One of the most expensive parts of planning a trip to Europe is getting over the ocean. But one you are there it’s easier and cheaper to fly or take the train. Using the Google Flights explore feature is a great way of finding the cheapest route to Europe and then you can head off your destination, keeping some money in your wallet for later.

Have any questions about Google Flights?

I don’t think aspect of travel will ever get old I don’t think aspect of travel will ever get old. The rush of emotions as the places you read about in books, saw in the classroom, and glimpsed on tv shows is finally in front of you in real life. It’s the best feeling!

Is there a place you can’t wait to see in real life?

⬇️ How to travel more in 2024. I remember whe ⬇️ How to travel more in 2024.

I remember when I worked full time at the theater, nobody could figure out how I could travel as much as I did - taking nearly a trip every month!

Here’s what I did:
✈️ I would start a year in advance to figure out how I could maximize my PTO, combining those days with paid holidays.
✈️ I signed up for cheap flight alerts and picked my destinations based on where was cheapest to fly to - Comment the word CHEAP to get a list of 17 websites that send out alerts.
✈️ Put my savings into a high yield savings account so that it would multiply in between trips.
✈️ Signed up for airline and hotel loyalty programs so that I could earn points.
✈️ Signed up for travel credit cards and used those for my everyday spending, paying them off at the end of each month to earn even more points.
✈️ Joined programs like Rakuten and airline and hotel dining rewards programs to earn even more points and miles and cash back for my everyday spending - Comment the word CASH to get an invite to join Rakuten.
✈️ Utilized websites like Groupon, Gilt City, Costco, Raise, and TravelZoo to get discounts on things like restaurants, attractions, and even hotels.

Doing all this helped make my travel budget stretch even further to take more trips every year!
